The Campus Recreation Team (CRT) exists to ensure that the department of intramurals and recreation is led with the same unique vision and mission of Belhaven University, by partnering with students to help fulfill and promote the mission in the spirit of the university motto, “to serve, not to be served.”

Meet our staff! These individuals work together to create quality event programming on campus and provide leadership to the Campus Activities Team.

Trevor Williams, Director of Campus Recreation and Athletic Facilities

Trevor, a native of Mississippi, is a graduate from Ole Miss earning his degree in Accountancy. His passion for sports and college students has led him to this position at Belhaven University.

Trevor leads the Campus Recreation Team (CRT) and the coordination of all recreational and intramural events as well facility management. He enjoys helping lead and mentor students and providing opportunities to see them succeed.

Trevor is married to his wife Kristen Williams who is a teacher at Brandon Elementary. Outside the office you can find Trevor playing golf, fishing, traveling, serving at his church, and attending sporting events.

Major: Sports Medicine and Exercise Science Minor: Psychology
Hobbies: Journaling, Reading, Playing basketball or watching football/basketball

What do you love most about Belhaven? 
I love the small classes and how the faculty really care’s about the student’s success.

Intramurals creates an atmosphere where students can have fun through sports. There’s an opportunity to build community and meet new students.

I love the people of Belhaven. The community that you can build at Belhaven is so special

Why Campus Recreation?
Campus rec is a place where students are able to come, have fun, and meet new people they may not usually met. I think campus rec is a great place for building the communities within Belhaven.
