6th Annual One Act Play Festival
November 15, 2011 (Jackson) - The 6th Annual One Act Play Festival is an evening of short plays acted, produced, and directed by Belhaven theatre students.
Theatre students showcase their hard work from the fall semester by combining their production, supervising and directing skills to create these one act plays.Winning short plays from the Belhaven One Act Play Competition were selected for this years festival.
The 6th Annual One Act Play Festival is November 29-30 in the Blackbox Theatre at 7:30 P.M.; the doors open at 7:00 P.M.
Joe Frost, Chair of the Theatre Department and Assistant Professor of Theatre said, It's a great opportunity for our students to learn the art of collaboration in the classroom and in production all in the same project. We're so pleased that it is in its 6th year and still able to present exciting new short works to our audience.
Delectable desserts like cheesecake, cookies and hot chocolate will be on sale during the performance to benefit Belhavens Alpha Psi Omega chapter of the National Theatre Honor Society.
