About Dining Services

The dining commons staff enjoys serving students and strives to make meals fun, healthy, and as much like home as is possible. A variety of different entrees are offered at every meal, including categories such as Classic Entrees, Healthy Edge, Passport Café, Veggie Venue, Fast Food, Deli Designs and Garden Gourmet. One of the Dining Commons’ signature meals which includes the famous southern fried chicken (or baked chicken), macaroni and cheese, and turnip greens is served weekly. Every lunch and dinner offers a full salad bar and baked chicken option to students. To top off a meal, students can choose from hand-dipped ice creams and a variety of desserts prepared daily.

Residential students living in the traditional halls (Robertson, Wells, Lakeview, Caldwell, or Helen White) have a full meal plan as a part of their room and board payment. Students residing in the University Village or commuting to campus have the option to purchase meals at various rates depending on the number of meals desired.

For any questions about the food service, please contact, Mr. Chris Walker, Director, at dining@belhaven.edu or 601-968-5912.
