Ms. Arrington’s research and teaching interests include business intelligence, analytics, organizational technology adoption, leadership, project management, and artificial intelligence, areas that complement her extensive professional experience in business and technology leadership. She teaches graduate business courses, mentors students, and equips current and emerging leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving business environment.
Ms. Arrington earned a Master of Science in Leadership and a Bachelor of Science from Belhaven University. She also holds the globally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification and has maintained the credential for more than a decade. Her doctoral research in Business Intelligence and Analytics examines the adoption of artificial intelligence within Mississippi government health and human services organizations, with an emphasis on organizational readiness, innovation, and technology integration.
Prior to joining Belhaven, Ms. Arrington built a distinguished career with Fortune 100 organizations, where she led large-scale business transformation initiatives, managed multimillion-dollar projects, and supported government healthcare programs. Her professional experience spans more than 20 years and includes roles as a software developer, business analyst, project manager, trainer, account executive, and organizational leader.
Her areas of expertise include project management, leadership, business analytics, organizational strategy, healthcare operations, technology adoption, and artificial intelligence. She is passionate about helping students connect theory to practice through experiential learning, critical thinking, and servant leadership. Her teaching emphasizes ethical decision-making, professional development, strategic thinking, and the integration of faith and business principles.
Ms. Arrington is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and actively contributes to professional and academic discussions related to project management, business intelligence, leadership, and emerging technologies.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys mentoring emerging professionals, serving in ministry, spending time with her four children and growing family of grandchildren, and supporting community and faith-based initiatives. Her commitment to lifelong learning, servant leadership, and student success guides her work both inside and outside the university.
