Todd Bobo is a music educator and professional musician working in the Jackson, Mississippi area since 1992. He earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Delta State University in 1993 and a Master of Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004. He started a career as a band director in 1993 and taught for 25 years, mainly concert, marching, and jazz bands, as well as music appreciation in Crystal Springs and Terry, Mississippi, until his retirement in 2018. Since 2018, he has continued to teach applied music lessons at Belhaven University and several local high and junior high schools. He is also a professional saxophonist, having performed with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra and numerous well-known musicians, and continues to play jazz, blues, R&B, and pop music locally in solo spots and several bands and frequently at venues like Hal & Mal’s, Iron Horse Grill, and The Hilton Hotel of Jackson.
