What do you do in the Office of Admission?
My job is to assist and guide prospective students during their admission process in hopes to make the stressful process, seamless in all aspects.
What is your perception of academic quality at Belhaven University?
Belhaven's education is unique in the way that it provides a Christian worldview that is integrated into all fields of study. The professors uphold Christian values continuously and are eager to know their students on a personal level, which gave me comfort during my time as a student. At Belhaven, you are not just a number, but a loved child of God.
What do you like most about Belhaven?
I love that Belhaven is a tight-knit campus where everyone knows each other, but it is also diverse enough that you can meet new people from across the globe.
What is your favorite place on campus and Why?
The fountain between Fitzhugh and Preston Hall is my favorite spot on campus because all of the flowers and trees are in bloom during the summer, making for pretty scenery.
What advice would you give to your incoming students?
I would tell my students to keep an open mind and open heart. You never know where life will take you, so be willing to change with the different seasons of life.
