As educators, we are called to a higher purpose – we are called to teach the most precious of God’s gifts, His children. As a Christian teacher, I strive to continue in my growth as an educator, being one who is open about her beliefs, who is willing to share those beliefs with others, and who incorporates a deeper level of connection between the content of the courses I teach and the Biblical teachings and foundations that support that content. “Doing the right thing” is not enough. I must “do the right thing” with God as my guide and master teacher, so I may more effectively convey His love and His message to others.
