What do you do in the Office of Admission?

I work with our upcoming students and help them with the admissions process!

What is your perception of academic quality at Belhaven University?

When I first started at Belhaven what struck me the most was the connection that professors have with students. Given that we have smaller class sizes, it really gives students an opportunity to better understand the material that they are learning. It definitely helps our students succeed!

What do you like most about Belhaven?

My favorite part of Belhaven is the inclusion of the Lord in our everyday lives. An example of this is our motto that reminds us that we are here to serve and not to be served.

What is your favorite place on campus and why?

My favorite place on campus has to be the Warren Hood Library! It’s a place people can go to do work or study in an environment that is calm and welcoming!

What advice would you give to your incoming students?

Have confidence in yourself! Sometimes life can get overwhelming especially starting out in college! Remember that college is a whole new world and that comes with some new challenges. It’s important to work to overcome those challenges and remember that you can do it! One day you will look back and realize just how far you’ve come!
