Why Invest in Facilities?
Recruiting
Competing for student athlete recruits is increasingly a challenging proposition. Completing both the aesthetic and technological qualities of the Belhaven Bowl Stadium will enhance our ability to draw elite-level athletes that are considering the well-developed programs in our conference.
Fan Experience
Maximizing the fan experience is key to making sure our seats are always full. This atmosphere helps cultivate school spirit for our fans and to encourage our student-athletes as they compete in a packed house.
Stewardship
Fulfilling God’s calling does not require expensive or beautiful buildings. However, we are called to excellence in all that we do. “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV
In all of our efforts to draw students, their parents and peers into the influence of Belhaven, we are doing so with a kingdom minded purpose. The staff and administration have been diligent to maintain a Christian World View focus that is soundly based on Biblical truths. Our faculty and staff sacrificially live out the mission of the school. The result is a long track record of graduates who have begun or enhanced their walk with Christ during their time at Belhaven.
The aesthetics and functionality of our campus resources aids our efforts to draw and to teach those that God is calling into his service.
