Continuing our Community Lecture Series….

Our Calling to Care: Mental Health and Christian Community

Thanks to a generous grant by the Presbyterian Church USA, we are continuing our lecture series on the Bible and Mental Health with one lecture each semester in 2018 and 2019.

We are excited that on October 29, Amy Simpson, will be on campus for a community wide lecture titled "Our Calling to Care: Mental Health and Christian Community" to be held at 7:00 pm in Irby Room 200 on campus.

Amy holds an English degree from Trinity International University, an MBA from the University of Colorado, and CPCC certification from Coaches Training Institute. As an acquisitions editor for Moody Publishing and a former publishing executive, Amy has a heart for leaders who are ready to lead with purpose, confidence and authenticity. As a member of a family affected by serious mental illness, she holds strong convictions that each person’s life has purpose and that points of crisis are opportunities for transformation. As an experienced leader, filling roles from executive to entrepreneur, she knows how to turn challenges into resources.
