Jonathan Hall, Taps Murove, Paul Hoffman, Eric Martin, and Dr. Ervin Martin attended the 30th Annual Ethics Symposium, sponsored by Presbyterian Men-of-the-Church in Hilton Head, SC. Belhaven College, was honored to participate in this stimulating conference in debating ethical issues being confronted in the modern business world. Numerous cases were discussed and our students experienced valuable insights as to how their faith will be challenged in the postmodern, secular-progressive society.
Dr. William Penn and student Mr. Tapfumanei Murove presented at the IABPAD Conference in New Orleans, October 25-28, 2007. Their paper was entitled “A Study of the Relationship Between CEO Compensation and Company Performance and Employee Morale.” Mr. Murove was given a special award as a student presenter at the conference.
