In May, the Belhaven College School of Business will launch a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) degree. The program is geared toward working adults and meant to equip graduates for leadership and management responsibilities within government agencies.

The accelerated program is comprised of one class meeting per week, in conjunction with project team meetings, and can be completed in as little as 14 months. Dr. Ervin Martin, Associate Professor of Business Administration, serves as program director.

Prospective students must have a baccalaureate from a regionally accredited institution, a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and a score of at least 350 on the GMAT or 750 on the GRE. Students enrolled in or completing a Certified Public Manager (CPM) can earn 10% off MPA tuition. Those with a completed CSM or CPM do not have to take a graduate entrance.
