October 19, 2009—The Belhaven College theatre department presents “A Doll’s House” on October 22-24 and 28-31. Set in Victorian Norway, the play centers around a secret that threatens to destroy the thin veneer of marriage between Nora and Torvald, the leading couple. Hailed by many as Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen’s most famous play, “A Doll’s House” examines what makes—or breaks—a marriage. Faculty member Dr. Louis H Campbell directs this stylish production of Ibsen’s groundbreaking 1879 play.

The play runs from October 22-24 and 28-31, 2009: Wednesday – Friday, 7:30 pm; Saturday Matinees, 2:00 pm. Center for the Arts, Blackbox Theatre. For tickets, call the Box Office: 601.965.7026. To see the full Arts Schedule, check out the Arts Ablaze Website.
