On February 10th, the Preston Chamber Music Series presents An Evening of Diamonds II, featuring works by composers Ravel and Respighi. Ravel’s emotionally stirring Piano Trio gives power to this live performance. The composer speaks passionately through the virtuoso talents of Mr. Song Xie, faculty violinist; Mr. Bennett Randman, Mississippi Symphony Orchestra principal cellist; and Dr. Stephen Sachs, faculty pianist. Respighi’s Sonata in B minor for Violin and Piano completes this exceptional program.
