September 22, 2009—It’s less than two months from “Back to Belhaven 2009,” and all alumni should register online to let us know you will be attending this year’s festivities. There is literally something for everyone: Are you bringing a family member who is almost ready for college? Make sure you register for the Discover Day Admission program! Are you from the class of 1959, 1969, or 1999? There are special reunion receptions planned just for you! Did you take classes with legendary professors Chestnut and Kelly? There is a “Thirty Years of Excellence Celebration” in their honor that you won’t want to miss. Are you a runner or walker? Don’t miss the 4th Annual Homecoming 5k Run/Walk!
The list of fun activities goes on and on, including the Sports Hall of Fame Banquet and Reception, a Family Cookout with children’s activities, the Alumni Awards Luncheon, a 5th Quarter Tailgate Party at the football field, and an orchestra concert as the weekend’s grand finale. Register online to reserve your spot, and make sure you tell all of your classmates to do the same.
