November 6, 2009: Dr. William Sumrall, Associate Professor of Business on the Belhaven College-Memphis campus, won Best Paper Award at the recent International Business and Economics Research Conference (IBERC) and the 2009 International Teaching and Learning Conference (ITLC) held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The paper, "Using the Internal Rate of Return Method to Consider the Potential Degree Offerings of a Liberal Arts College," was co-authored by Ms. Stacy Troxel and Dr. Adrian Doss, of Arkansas State University and The University of West Alabama, respectively.
This award-winning article by Sumrall, Troxel, and Doss has been accepted for publication in the American Journal of Business Education. This honor speaks highly of the Belhaven College School of Business faculty member, as the article acceptance rate for this journal is only between 11-20 percent.
