February 9, 2010: Belhaven University’s annual Student Mission Conference will be held from February 16-18, 2010 and features alumnus Dan Porch as the keynote speaker. Porch is a 1983 graduate of Belhaven University and former Director of West African Missions (Senegal, Guinea, Liberia, and the Ivory Coast) for SIM (Serving in Mission). He will speak at 11:00 am on both Tuesday and Thursday at the Center for the Arts, and on Wednesday he will speak at 8:30 pm in the Student Center Commons.
A total of six mission organizations will be represented at this year’s Student Mission Conference, and the following organizations and their representatives will be available in the Student Center and different classrooms throughout the week: Perkins Foundation, Operation Mobilization, Mission to the World, Wycliffe, YWAM, and SIM.
