April 13, 2010: Belhaven University Communications department will sponsor a conference exploring media management and news on April 21 from 10am to noon in the Student Center Theater. Top media persons from The Clarion Ledger, Miss. State Senate, FOX 40, Clear Channel Radio, WAPT, The Godwin Group, WLBT, and WJTV will be attending the conference.
The students in the Ethics in Mass Communication class have been studying ethics in the media, and its impact on the electorate (voters). The conference will reach a broad perspective on ethics and help students to utilize their skills in an ethical manner to enrich their careers and enhance the integrity of the media as a whole.
