March 31, 2010: For the first time in our history the Belhaven Blazer softball team is nationally ranked 9th in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll. These women were victorious once again in their double header on March 30th; making their current record 33-3. Dr. Parrott explains, Head Coach Rick Fremin has built a marvelous program, and created a new milestone in his national ranking. Our softball blazers have produced 6 All- Americans, and 2 Regional Appearances while maintaining a team GPA of 3.1. Our Blazers could be headed to the National Tournament.
