April 7, 2010: The Belhaven University Theatre department presents T.S. Eliot Murder in the Cathedral on April 15-17 and 21-24, 2010, in the Blackbox Theatre located in the Center for the Arts. This innovative production is directed by the Theatre Department Chair, Joseph Frost.

Considered as one of the greatest religious dramas ever written, it tells the story of the martyrdom of Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury, through the poetry of T.S. Eliot. The cast includes Alex Quarterman as Thomas Becket, Marla Hershberger, Ashley Elizabeth Murray, Grace Varland, Mysie Falardeau as Tempters, and Scott Gaines, Becki Haynes, Danielle Davis, and Erin Brownfield as knights.
