November 8, 2010: The best student performances of the semester will all be presented in a single concert, Best of Belhaven, on Monday, November 22. “I am thrilled the Belhaven Music Department offers a concert that focuses a spotlight on the best student performances of each semester,” says Dr. Stephen Sachs, Chair of the Music Department. “As music department students perform throughout the semester, music faculty assess each performance, keenly searching for those moments on stage that attain a level of excellence not often seen on the university stage.”

Best of Belhaven will be in the Concert Hall of the Center for the Arts. Complimentary admission. Doors open at 7:00 pm.

Belhaven stands among the select Christian colleges and universities that offer a unique general core curriculum encouraging the development of a personal worldview. The university believes a Christian worldview is a key to preparing men and women academically and spiritually to serve Christ Jesus in their careers, in human relationships, and in the world of ideas.

Founded in 1883, Belhaven University now serves over 3,000 students from campuses in Jackson, Memphis, Orlando, Houston, and online, offering traditional undergraduate degrees, graduate and adult degree programs, and online degree programs.
