October 5, 2010: The Community Dance Concert is Saturday, October 16 at 7:30 pm. Members of the Belhaven University Dance Department will join together with other local dance artists to offer an inspiring, diverse, and exciting evening of dance. “This annual event is a wonderful gathering of dancers from the Jackson area,” says Krista Bower, a member of the Belhaven Dance faculty. “The concert will be very diverse, featuring ballet, modern, hip-hop, and liturgical dance.” Guest dance artists will include some members of the Ballet Magnificat Trainee Program, Duncan Dance, and Montage Dance Theatre.

The concert will be held in the Concert Hall of the Belhaven University Center for the Arts. Suggested donation $10, Seniors/Students/ Children $5, and Belhaven University faculty and staff $2. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
