April 27, 2010: Covenant College is transferring its Quest Program (adult degree program) to Belhaven University. Quest’s challenging, but practical curriculum is designed to fit the busy schedules of working adults. Quest currently enrolls 400 adult students, and many of the 3,000 Quest graduates are in leadership positions throughout the Southeast.

Dr. Parrott, President of Belhaven College, says, “I’m overwhelmed at the bold vision of the Covenant College leadership to serve adult students by joining this unique blend of our institutions’ strengths to assure that the great tradition and academic strength of Quest will continue.”

The institutions are working hard to make sure that the students currently enrolled in the Quest program will experience a seamless transition when Belhaven takes the leadership of the program, pending approvals from the higher education governing agencies, Tennessee Higher Education Commission, Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Belhaven University, formerly Belhaven College, prepares men and women academically and spiritually to serve Christ Jesus in their careers, in human relationships, and in the world of ideas. Founded in 1883, the University now serves over 3,000 students from campuses in Jackson, Memphis, Orlando, Houston, and online.
