March 9, 2010: Amos Ellis, a December 2009 graduate of Belhaven University's Master of Public Administration program, has been named a Finalist for the Presidential Management Fellowship (PMF), which is a highly competitive program whose purpose is “to attract to the Federal service outstanding men and women from a variety of academic disciplines and career paths who have a clear interest in, and commitment to, excellence in the leadership and management of public policies and programs.”

Ellis is named among fierce competition that includes graduates of top institutions such as Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, among many others. In addition, Belhaven University is the only institution in Mississippi to have a PMF Class of 2010 Finalist.
