March 18, 2010: Belhaven University has been selected as one of nine host sites for the 2010 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening which will be played May 18th through the 21st at Smith-Wills Stadium. Each site will feature a five-team double elimination tournament. The pairings of the National Championship Opening Round tournaments will be announced by 5 p.m. CDT on Friday. The Belhaven Baseball Blazers take the field this afternoon at 3:00 pm vs. Brewton-Parker in the Opening Round of the 2010 National Baseball Tournament - here in Jackson at Smith Wills Stadium. The winner of our five team, double-elimination regional advances to the World Series.
