December 7, 2011 (Chattanooga)- The Belhaven Chattanooga Campus is participating in Advancing the Ministries of the Gospel (AMG) International's Bundle of Love Program this Christmas Season.
AMG International is a Christian missionary agency ministering to needy people in 40 countries around the world since 1942. Their work includes sharing the gospel of salvation, feeding and caring for hungry children and providing medical help in hospitals, clinics and medical centers.
“I realize that financially, we're pulled in many different directions this time of year. However, the Bundles of Love program provides a way for our campus to show the love of Christ by providing the basic necessities of life to those who have so little,” said Ed Pickel, Director of Admission at Belhaven's Chattanooga Campus.
Each Bundle of Love only costs $20 and will contain shoes, a school uniform, school supplies, a new blanket, Bible study books, and other items based on the needs of each recipient.
Belhaven stands among the select Christian colleges and universities that offer a unique general core curriculum encouraging the development of a personal worldview. The university believes a Christian worldview is a key to preparing men and women academically and spiritually to serve Christ Jesus in their careers, in human relationships, and in the world of ideas.
Founded in 1883, Belhaven University now serves over 3,000 students from campuses in Jackson, Memphis, Orlando, Houston, Chattanooga, Atlanta and online, offering traditional undergraduate degrees, graduate and adult degree programs, and online degree programs.
