June 13, 2011 (Jackson)-Incoming freshmen, it's time to dot your i's, cross your t's and take the first exciting step into your first year at Belhaven University. Mark your calendar and make sure you don't miss B & U Day this Thursday and Friday, June 16-17.

B & U Day is a time for students to meet with a faculty advisor to schedule classes for the fall semester and to complete all of the necessary business items before school begins, such as having an I.D. card made, setting up a library account, assigning a student email address, etc.

These two days will be a great opportunity for freshmen to spend time with their roommates, meet some new faces, hang out and get to know others in their freshmen class, and explore Belhaven's beautiful campus.

Registration will begin Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the Student Center (see campus map).

All freshmen, who have been accepted for admission to the university, and their parents are encouraged to attend. There will be programs provided for parents. Dinner on Thursday and continental breakfast and lunch on Friday will be provided for students and parents.

Check out Belhaven's B & U Day web page for a full schedule of events and additional information.
