January 14, 2011: Congratulations to Kiara Johnson and Nathaniel Roche’ being selected as the SSAC Conference Players of the Week for Women’s and Men’s Basketball! With 16 quality schools and high-level athletic competition, this SSAC honor is a credit to the hard work of these players, their teammates and coaches. Both teams are coming off upsets of top-15 ranked teams as they head into the beginning of SSAC competition.

Make plans to be in Rugg Arena this Saturday, January 15th, as the basketball teams host long-time rival, University of Mobile at 5:00 and 7:00 pm. Bring your vocal support as they begin to work toward SSAC championships. Get your green on and come support our Blazers!
