May 31, 2011 (Memphis, Tenn.) - To better accommodate the growing number of students enrolled, Belhaven University’s campus in Memphis is relocating. Put the map and GPS device away because the new campus is only three miles down the road from the old location. July 5th will mark the first official day at the new address, 1790 Kirby Parkway, Memphis, Tennessee 38138, better known as the Forum II Building.

“We are thankful that over the past five years our enrollment has grown significantly. But with this blessing we are in need of a different location that will fit the needs of our campus, both for your needs right now and to accommodate this wonderful pattern of continued growth,” states Dr. Roger Parrott, President of Belhaven University.

The change of venue is a new chapter in the 20 years of history Belhaven already has in Memphis. The new campus will have improved classrooms, technology, amenities, and more functional space.

Dr. Audrey Kelleher, Vice President of Adult and Graduate Marketing and Development said, “We are very excited about the new facility with the many upgrades to our classrooms. Students will also find this new location easy to access with convenient parking close to the building.”

The new Memphis campus will be located on the first floor of the Forum II Building, Suite 100 and will provide students with quick access from all parts of town. Classrooms and faculty offices will be placed in the same proximity unlike the old campus where they were separated.

The accelerated adult and graduate degree programs at Belhaven’s Memphis campus enable working adults to fit a quality education into their busy schedules.

Belhaven proudly stands among the select Christian colleges and universities that offer a unique general core curriculum encouraging the development of a worldview. The university believes a Christian worldview is a key to preparing men and women academically and spiritually to serve Christ Jesus in their careers, in human relationships, and in the world of ideas.

Founded in 1883, Belhaven University now serves over 3,000 students from campuses in Jackson, Memphis, Orlando, Houston, Chattanooga, Atlanta and online, offering traditional undergraduate degrees, graduate and adult degree programs, and online degree programs.
