Belhaven Memphis student, Katrina Gordon-Jones was awarded a $2,000 dollar scholarship from the Executive Women International (EWI) Memphis chapter.

The EWI Scholarship awards financial assistance to adult students who are interested in furthering their education in accredited bachelor, graduate, or post graduate programs.

Gordon-Jones is being recognized for her desire to further her career in business with Belhaven University, and she is currently finishing her Bachelor of Arts in Social Service. She transferred to Belhaven University from Southwest Tennessee Community College.

“Katrina has always exhibited a servant’s heart. From her first day at Belhaven she has been willing to go the extra mile to achieve her goals. She is never too busy to help her classmates, has a ready smile and a kind word for everyone. She exhibits the very best in Christian kindness,” said Don Jones, the Director of Admissions & Student Services at Belhaven Memphis.
