April 21, 2011: To attend, or not to attend, that is the question. The deadline to sign-up for the Belhaven Summer Theatre Academy is May 15th. This will be an incredible opportunity for children to be exposed to the theatre through acting.The camp will teach children various aspects of the theatre including acting, costume design, dance, makeup, musical theatre, and even exciting stage combat. The camp for ages 10-18 will run from June 27th to July 22nd, and the camp for the younger ages of 4-9 will run from July 11th to July 22nd.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for children to develop their artistic skills. The Belhaven Summer Theatre Academy will provide a fun learning environment with an excellent group of teachers to help children reach their maximum potential.
The camp runs Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost for the camp will be $220. Lunch will cost $5 everyday, or you can bring your own sack lunch.
