October 21, 2011 (Jackson) - Everyone Knows What A Dragon Looks Like is a special matinee performance presented by the Belhaven Theatre Department that takes place outside at the Entergy Pavilion. Catch this exciting outdoor play based on a Chinese fable from Wednesday thru Saturday, November 2-5.
This powerful Chinese fable of the faith of a child comes from the award-winning childrens book written by Jay Williams and illustrated by Mercer Mayer.
Adapted by Bret Fetzer and directed by guest artist C. McNair Wilson, Everyone Knows What A Dragon Looks Like will be an exciting, interactive production that is fun for the whole family.
Play director, C. McNair Wilson who is a published author, cartoonist, public speaker and was a Disney imaginer said, The Belhaven Pavilion is the perfect place for an outdoor performance. Everyone Knows What A Dragon Looks Like will be a magical performance unlike any other that will incorporate elements seen in street theatres in China. Backgrounds, puppets, lighting, costumes, actors and your own imagination will pull you into thiswonderful an entertaining play.
