May 4, 2011 - The Belhaven University faculty awarded students who exemplify academic quality, leadership, service to others and character development. Every department highlighted certain students who have a positive impact on their community. The 2011 honors winners are:

Theater Priscilla Award

Given to the theater student who has most diligently pursued the task of drawing alongside others as a vital helpmate to exhort them and push them to excellence, as Priscilla did with Aquila in scriptures. (Romans 16:3-4)

Theater Barnabas Award
David Harris

Given to the theater student who has been consistently reliable to get the tasks done, often without acknowledgment or accolade This award is named for the apostle’s helper in Acts 4:36.
