February 16, 2011: Belhaven’s Dance Department presents the Senior Dance Concerts March 2-5, 2011. They will run Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 pm in the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center Studio Theatre. Due to the high number of seniors this year there are two different shows, Wednesday and Friday night, will feature one performance and Thursday and Saturday night, are the second.

Themes in this year’s show include authenticity, that two are better than one, the journey that leads to freedom in Christ, a reflection on the Holocaust and seeing God’s grace always present, and breaking down the walls we build and finding hope in our Savior.

Graduating BFA students present creative original senior projects exhibiting as the culmination of their dance studies. Come experience the passion and maturity evident in these inspiring young performers and choreographers. The suggested donation is $10 for adults, seniors and students is $5. There is complimentary admission for children, Belhaven faculty, staff, and students. The doors will open at 7:00 pm.
