May 23, 2012 (Jackson) - Belhaven biology majors are continuing their education to become physicians and nurses around the country. This school year, Belhaven biology graduates received acceptance letters into medical schools, nursing schools and health related master’s programs.

The courses offered through Belhaven’s Biology Department enable students to pursue specific pre-professional programs for medicine, dentistry, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, law, ministry and engineering.

After graduates have gone through Belhaven’s Bachelor of Science in Biology program, they are prepared for professional health-related studies and are ready work their way toward becoming health providers in their field.
