April 19, 2012 (Jackson) - The Belhaven Leadership Council (BLC) for the 2012-2013 school year was recently announced.

The BLC serve the student body in a variety of ways, from organizing community outreach and service days to planning fun activities and campus life events. They are in charge of student ministries and the White Columns yearbook and they also work hard to keep the different intramural programs running.

JoBeth Petty who is the Director of Student Leadership said, “I’m excited to work with the new BLC team! It’s always encouraging to see students living out of their God-given gifts and passions to serve others.”

The purpose of the BLC is to serve the interests of students and provide Christ-centered leadership within all areas of the student body. The BLC student representatives for 2012-2013 are:
