November 19, 2012 (Jackson) - The first installment of the 2012-2013 Best of Belhaven performance is on Monday, November 19. Students from the Belhaven Music Department will present the most outstanding performances of the semester in one powerful concert. This concert is a free to the public at starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall.

Dr. Stephen Sachs, Professor of Piano and Music Department Chair, said, “Best of Belhaven highlights the finest work of our student musicians each semester, with a smorgasbord of musical treats-everything from piano works, instrumental pieces and solo songs to chamber music, musical theatre, and new compositions.”

This exciting and diverse concert gives the audience a glimpse into the many concentrations available through Belhaven’s music degree program which include: Collaborative Piano and Pedagogy, Composition, Music Ministries, Musical Theatre, Performance and Vocal Pedagogy and Choral Conducting.
