January 27, 2012 (Jackson) - High school seniors are invited to experience college life at Belhaven during Discover Day, Friday, February 17. Step into the shoes of a college student for a day and see what it’s like to attend Belhaven University.

Jake Donald, Associate Director of Admission, said, “Discover Days give prospective students a glimpse of what they can look forward to as they experience college life here at our university. From interacting with our dynamic student body and faculty to experiencing firsthand Belhaven’s academic quality by observing a class or two, I’m confident you’ll find your place here at Belhaven.”

Discover Day is an opportunity for prospective students and their parents to meet professors in their major and learn more about an area of study. Still not sure what major to choose, then look into the many undergraduate programs at Belhaven.

Students get a chance to spend time with other prospective students from across the U.S. They can also take a tour around Belhaven’s campus and classrooms, visit and learn more about campus life, then fill-up on a delicious lunch in the Dining Commons.

This day is also a great time to connect and meet with a Belhaven Admission Counselor to talk about the enrollment process, financial aid options and any questions about campus life.

If you can’t make it for February’s Discover Day, then you can schedule a personal campus visit at any time.

Register online or contact Belhaven’s Admissions Office at admission@belhaven.edu and at 1-800-960-5940 if you would like to participate in the upcoming Discover Day.
