September 25, 2013 (Jackson) - The Belhaven Dance Department is proud to present the Community Dance Concert on September 28, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall. The Community Dance Concert is an annual event that brings together local dance companies, schools and ministries for an evening of inspirational dance performances.
Krista Bower, Specialty Instructor of Dance and Community Dance Concert Organizer said, “This year’s concert provides the audience with a unique opportunity to see the diversity of dance expression that exists within our community. The concert will feature dance works from the Belhaven University Dance Ministry Ensemble, Power APAC Dance Ensemble, Hinds Community College’s Montage Theatre of Dance, Intersect Dance Collective, Ballet Magnificat Trainee Company, Anointed Vessels and the Laurel Ballet Academy alongside other local dance artists.“
This will be a beautiful evening of art through movement. The doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and general admission for this evening will be $10. The admission cost for seniors and non-Belhaven college students will be $5. There will be complimentary admission for all Belhaven faculty, staff, students, and immediate families.
