November 2, 2013 (Jackson) - The Fall Dance Concert has earned the reputation of being one of the most highly anticipated performances from the Belhaven Dance Department. This year will showcase the choreography of dance faculty and guest artists from the Belhaven University Dance Ensemble at the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center Studio.
Performance dates include:
Friday, November 8, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
Friday, November 15, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
Cynthia Newland, Associate Professor of Dance and Chair of the Dance Department said, “Audience members will enjoy an array of dance-style samplings during our Belhaven Dance Ensemble, Fall 2013 Dance Concert. Classical and contemporary ballet, historical and contemporary modern and dance theater will make up this year bountiful and artistically rich program.”
General Admission for the performance will be $10. Admission for seniors and non-Belhaven students will be $5. Admission will be complimentary for Belhaven faculty, staff, students and immediate families. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each concert.
