bu day

June 10, 2013 (Jackson) - Incoming freshmen, it is time to get ready for your first year of college at Belhaven University. Mark your calendars and make sure you don't miss B & U Day on Thursday and Friday, June 20-21.

There are many things you need to do before jumping into college life. B & U Day was created for you, so you can complete all of the necessary business items before school begins such as having an I.D. card made, setting up a library account, starting a student email address and more.

Karlos Lyons, Admission Counselor said, “B & U day one of my favorite events of the year! It is imperative that our incoming freshmen get plugged in and acclimated to college life, and our admission team believes that B & U Day is one event that will help them do just that. Not only do our incoming freshmen get registered for their fall classes, but they also have an overnight visit. They stay with their assigned roommate, as well as participate in many fun activities.”

All freshmen accepted for admission to the University and their parents are encouraged to attend. There will be several programs provided for parents. These two days will be a great opportunity for freshmen to spend time with their roommates, meet some new faces, participate in campus activities and get to know others in the freshmen class.

You can register for B & U Day and check out Belhaven's B & U Day page for a full schedule of events.
