November 7, 2014 (Jackson) -Belhaven's 2014 Symphony Orchestra Concert on Friday, November 14 will present Tchaikovsky's magnificent Symphony No. 5. This free concert will have a wealth of original themes, warm and colorful harmonies and masterful construction that makes this symphonic experience a worldwide favorite. Join us for an evening of beautiful music at the Belhaven University Center for the Arts Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m.
“This is one of the mostcomplex musical arrangements that demands a very high level of coordination, technique and sensitivity to tone,” said Song Xie, Associate Professor of Music. “I'm very proud of our student musicians with the Belhaven Symphony Orchestra who have worked diligently and achieved a higher level of excellence for this performance.”
