April 15, 2014 (Jackson) - The Sports Administration Department and School of Business will present the 3rd Annual Belhaven University Capstone Conference of Sports, Education, Religion and Ethics on April 16.

A total of 35 sports administration students from the Strategic Management in Sports Administration class will give their presentations from their senior capstone projects. Each student will be available to answer questions as it relates to how sports, education, religion and ethics are intertwined in their pursuits toward their career aspirations.

“The students in this Strategic Management class have worked extremely hard over the last three to four years of their lives for this moment,” said Dr. Howard Bartee Jr., Chair/Assistant Professor of the Sports Administration Department. “We hope that this event will be an opportunity for these students to showcase what they have learned throughout their college career and serve as a launch for what they aspire to become in life as servant leaders within their communities.”

This free event will start at 11:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m. in the McCravey-Triplett Student Center and is open to faculty, staff, coaches, sports administrators, students, former internship supervisors and invited guests of the participants.
