April 2, 2014 (Jackson) - Eighteen Belhaven University Vocal Arts students competed successfully at the National Association of the Teachers of Singing (NATS) Competition hosted on campus, March 21 and 22. The annual state NATS vocal competition drew 241 student singers from every major university in the state along with many high school singers.

Belhaven’s Jessica Ziegelbauer took first place and Cierra Lee took second place in the upper division musical theatre category. Grace Anna Randall took fourth place in the classical category and Tymothe Thompson took second place in lower division musical theatre. Congratulations to these Belhaven Vocal Arts students for these significant artistic achievements!
