October 9, 2014 (Jackson) -The Belhaven University Community Dance Concert will be held on Saturday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall on Riverside Drive.
Members of Belhaven University dance faculty, students and alumni will join together with other local dance companies, schools and ministries to offer an inspiring evening of dance.
Local performing groups featured in this concert include: Montage Theater of Dance from Hinds Community College, the BalletMagnifcat! Trainee Company,Power APAC DanceEnsemble anddancestudents from Mississippi School of the Arts.
The concert will be a reflection of themany typesof dance expressions that exist in ourlocalcommunity and an opportunity for both students and the community to experience the diversity of the dance in Mississippi.
General Admission is $10 and $5 for seniors and students. Admission is free for Belhaven faculty, staff and students and their immediate families. Doors open at 7 p.m.
