PhiBetaLambdaOctober 22, 2015 (Jackson, Miss.) - This year, the future business leaders club, Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), began its 50th year serving Belhaven students and the greater Jackson community. The chapter was created in order to prepare students for success and give them valuable business experience.

Every semester the chapter invites guest speakers to share their wisdom and give insight. The students are also involved in business meetings and service projects such as fundraising activities and gift giving to local charity organizations. Last year PBL gave Gateway Rescue Mission a donation of $500, largely obtained from selling hot chocolate and doughnuts at the Belhaven Singing Christmas Tree in December.

This year's officers are:
Ron Lasher - president
Alonzo Peavy - vice president
Rebecca Steer - secretary
Caleb Wiechmann - treasurer
Brittany Flemming - reporter
