July 12, 2016 (Jackson, Miss.) - The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education's (IACBE) Board of Commissioners have approved and granted reaccreditation for all 18 business programs in Belhaven's School of Business.

The University will be publicly recognized for achieving accreditation at the 2017 IACBE Annual Conference and Assembly Meeting on April 20, 2017 in San Francisco, California.
Belhaven's School of Business underwent a comprehensive, independent peer review that demonstrated compliance with the following accreditation principles of the IACBE: outcomes assessment, resources, strategic planning, internal and external relationships, curriculum, international business education, faculty, educational innovation, scholarly and professional activities.
At this year's conference, the IACBE awarded Dr. Chip Mason, Dean of Belhaven's School of Business, the 2016 John L. Green Award for Excellence in Business Education.
The John L. Green Award for Excellence in Business Education honors individuals who have made significant contributions that advance the cause of academic quality in business education in a manner consistent with the IACBE's Characteristics of Excellence in Business Education.
