Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Puts Student Music in Spotlight

April21, 2016 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven senior Trailand Eltzroth will have his musical arrangement featured at the Composers' Orchestral Reading Session on Monday, April 25 at the Mississippi Museum of Art.

Professional players with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra (MSO) will perform compositions from Belhaven's Eltzroth along with students from Mississippi College.

This special event is free and will take place in the Museum's Trustmark Grand Hall. The concert will start at 5:30 p.m. and each piece will be read, discussed and read a second time. This process will give audience members an inside view of the music-making process.
