January 26, 2017 (Jackson, Miss.) - The Mayfair Affair story continues with a new original prequel, Mayfair Ma Chère, premiering February 17 in the Blackbox Theatre. From the mind of Associate Professor of Theatre Joseph Frost, this play tells the story of Jack and Moira as they head to New Orleans to elope.
Along the way they pick-up an eclectic mix of characters that include a would-be smuggler, a desperate missionary, a crusty sea captain, a Cajun learning to cook, a first-time thief, a masquerading widow, a cursed valet and an unclaimed mail-order bride all make one exciting tall-tale, full of mayhem and mistaken identities.
