Sketching The SoulMarch 9, 2017 (Jackson, Miss.) - The premiere of Sketching The Soul from Belhaven's Theatre Department is on March 30, 2017, in the Barber Auditorium. This new production is about Chelsea Logan, an artist conflicted by her rising fame and her Amish upbringing.

None of Chelsea's friends, not even her boyfriend, know about her past. Chelsea is forced to address the problem when her sister Sarah shows up unexpectedly. She must explain her sister and the lifestyle she has been keeping a secret from her boyfriend Mike and aggressive journalist, Maureen Nash. Sarah and Mike help Chelsea accept and acknowledge the power of her heritage so that she can move toward a future she never anticipated.
